Normal approximation to Binomial

To use the Normal approximation, check that:

(1) n is large, i.e. greater than 50;

(2) np is greater than 5;

(3) nq is greater than 5.

The resulting Normal distribution has mean = np and variance = npq.

Remember to use the continuity correction.

Try this!

Continuity correction or not?
